Photoshoot

I am scheduled to do a photo shoot with a close friend, and amazing photographer,  sometime during the lovely winter break. So, being myself, I am getting all excited about it and researching other photographers viewpoint on indoor fashion photography. What I've come to find is that photography is probably one of the toughest industries out there. There is a lot of competition. One person may love your work, while another may hate it. This is making me a little scared to go out there and work in the fashion industry, because it is the same way. I may not be successful in what I want to do, and to me that thought lingers in my head constantly.

But enough on my rant about being unsure. I wanted to share the websites of photographers who I believe have great skill for the craft they have chosen. Enjoy :)

Engagement Photos

Not that I'm considering getting married anytime soon, but I stumbled upon this photographer.  The photo shoot is absolutely amazing and I hope that when I do decide to get married I can do something like this for my engagement photos.

Enjoy :)

The Hidden Treasures of Fossil.com

So, if you don't already know, I aspire to work at the headquarters of Fossil in apparel design. Currently working at a Fossil store in Des Moines, I've come to love the little touches the company brings to their brand. How many people know that a key with the word "Fossil" is on every handbag Fossil sells? Since my obsession is growing, I spend a good deal of time on their website and was pleased to see that their "A Day in the Life" featured what i basically want to do with my life.  So, check it out and hopefully one day I will be doing the same thing. :)
